Per-splice rates that drop as your job grows
Single-mode and multimode fusion splicing, charged per completed splice. Every splice includes fibre preparation, cleaving, a heat-shrink protection sleeve and a splice-loss reading — no hidden prep line. Most competitors charge one flat rate no matter how many splices you need; we don't.
Ex VAT. Splice count is per site / per job. Single-mode & multimode charged at the same rate — no premium for SM.

Fibre splicing questions
How is fibre splicing priced?
Per completed fusion splice, on a sliding scale — from R89 each for small jobs down to R59 each at 500+ splices. Single-mode and multimode are the same rate. Each splice includes fibre prep, cleaving, a protection sleeve and a splice-loss reading. Call-out, testing and enclosures are listed separately and openly.
Do you charge extra for fibre preparation?
No. Preparation, cleaving and the splice-protection sleeve are built into the per-splice price. We don’t add a separate "preparation of fibre cable" line the way some providers do.
Is OTDR testing and a certificate included?
OTDR testing is a separate line, but our R129 test-and-certify package bundles the pre-install, post-install and final acceptance traces together with a signed PDF certificate — typically cheaper than paying for the three tests individually elsewhere.
Where do you do fibre splicing?
We’re based in Rustenburg and cover the wider North West province — Brits, Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom and surrounds — and travel nationally for larger contracts. Travel is free within 50 km of Rustenburg and R6.50/km beyond that.
Do you offer contract or bulk rates?
Yes. Our 100+ and 500+ tiers are built for backbone, FTTx and contract work, and we’ll quote fixed project rates for ongoing or large deployments. Send us the scope and we’ll apply the best tier automatically.
What about after-hours and weekend work?
Saturday work is charged at 1.4×, Sundays and public holidays at 1.75×, and same-day emergency call-outs are available by arrangement — lower multipliers than the common 1.5×/2.0× market rates.
